REMINDER FOOD DRIVE FOR ST VINCENT DE PAUL

Dear Island Club residents,

We will be having a food drive to benefit St. Vincent Food Bank on

Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, between the hours of 10:00 to 12:00PM, to benefit the needs of our local community.

Please bring your donations to the Oceanside or Riverside clubhouse. There will be a car at each location.

The food will be taken to St. Vincent de Paul thrift store/food pantry on C.R. 510.

If need be before that date, checks can be dropped off and placed in the basket provided for at 824 Island Club Sq. (Eleanor Eddy) .  Please made checks payable to St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop

They are in need of the following items:

Canned sweet potatoes

Stuffing mixes

Canned turkey gravy

Canned vegetables (primarily whole corn, green beans, etc.)

Canned tuna packed in water

Canned chicken breast

Canned soups

Canned fruit

Canned beans (baked, black and red beans are most requested)

Canned spaghetti & meatballs

Chili

(try to get pop-up cans for homeless people)

Healthy Cereal

Peanut butter & Jelly

Spaghetti and tomato sauce

Rice a Roni

Mac & cheese

Packaged instant potatoes

Condiments

Brownie mix or cake mix and frosting

Cookies

Also needed and cannot be purchased with food stamps are items such as hand- operated.can opener, toilet paper, dish washing liquid and storage bags (quart and gallon size), and personal items such as deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, diapers, etc.
